Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Juper (“Juper”, “we”, “us”) about your use of Juper, the social media planning, publishing and analytics service at app.juper.ai (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.

1. What Juper does

Juper lets you plan, write, schedule and publish posts to social media accounts you connect (such as Instagram, Facebook, Threads and TikTok), keep a library of media, use AI to help write and plan content, and see how your posts perform. Features change over time, and some depend on the platforms’ own rules and approval.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.
• Give accurate information, keep your password safe, and tell us at contact@juper.ai if you think your account has been used without your permission.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account and in any brand or workspace you administer, including what people you invite do there.

3. Connected social accounts

• When you connect a social account, you authorise Juper to act on it within the permissions you grant: for example, to publish the posts you schedule, read their performance, and read or reply to comments and messages where you use those features.
• You must own or be authorised to manage every account you connect.
• Your use of each platform remains subject to that platform’s own terms and policies (including Meta’s, TikTok’s and Google’s). Juper is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
• You can disconnect an account at any time in Juper’s settings, or by removing Juper in the platform’s own settings.

4. Your content

• You keep ownership of everything you upload, write or publish through Juper (“Your Content”).
• You give Juper a limited licence to store, process, copy, resize and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you, including sending it to the platforms you choose.
• You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to it, and that it does not break the law or anyone else’s rights, or the rules of the platforms it is posted to.

5. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest captions, ideas and analysis. Suggestions can be wrong or unsuitable: review anything before you publish it. You are responsible for what you choose to post. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and our AI providers are not permitted to either.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to:

• post spam, or content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, deceptive or infringes anyone’s rights;
• break the terms of any platform you publish to, or automate activity those platforms prohibit;
• access accounts or data you are not authorised to, or interfere with the Service or its security;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except as the law allows.

We may suspend or close accounts that do.

7. Plans, trials and payment

New accounts start with a free trial. Paid plans, their prices and what they include are shown in the Service before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time; cancelling stops the next renewal. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it. We will tell you before any price change applies to you.

8. Availability and publishing

We work hard to publish every post on time, but publishing depends on the platforms and on networks outside our control. A platform may reject, delay or remove a post, change its rules, or withdraw access. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or that any post will be published or seen.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to contact@juper.ai. We may end or suspend the Service for you if you break these terms, or with reasonable notice for any other reason. What happens to your data afterwards is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or reputation. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the Service or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes will be heard in the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
